Faisal Al-Duwaisan
Faisal Al-Duwaisan is born and raised in Kuwait with passion for film, in 2005 he decided to fulfil his dream and become a filmmaker, he took workshops with Kuwait Cinemagic with Kuwait cinema club with the Egyptian director “Mohammed Khan”, in 2006 he took a workshop with “Nour El-sheref” the Egyptian actor, which was a wonderful experience being close to a cinema icon.
In 2007, Faisal got his first professional directing job in “Al-Watan TV” and he got his first photography job as a fashion photographer in “Thouq” magazine, also he made a short film called “Determination” to successfully participate in the 1st Gulf Film Festival.
Faisal got his first participation in Dubai International Film Festival and In Cannes short film corner for his short film “A Dream” made with Doha Film Institute, currently he is handling the production department of ewd.com.kw, which is a company that does website design, branding, photography and videos locally and internationally.
Faisal also holds an MFA in cinematic arts from The Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Arts.
