Documentary Short Film
We all know that the 2016 Olympics is close by, and we all know that the International Olympics Committee (IOC) banned Kuwait from the 2016 Olympic, however, there are a lot of athletes who have a dream to go to the Olympics, and it came to our knowledge that there are 8 Kuwaiti athletes who are qualified to the 2016 Olympics, so we have decided to make a short film to tell the stories and struggles of these Kuwaiti athletes who will participate in the 2016 Olympics without the Kuwaiti flag.
The film will contain interviews and coverage of the 8 Kuwaiti athletes in their areas, and for the first time we will hear their story and how do they feel about the IOC decision along with the situation in Kuwait in general. The film will be between 20 to 25 minutes of length, and it’s going to be directed by Balsam Al-Ayoub, a Kuwaiti athlete, and champion, and produced by Faisal Al-Duwaisan, a Kuwaiti filmmaker.
